And the 42-year-old seems incredibly confident of rolling back the years to win the tournament, despite a host of names being just a few shots off the pace.
“I am excited, I feel good,” he said on Saturday.
“I feel like I’m playing a little bit better.

“Made a bogey at the last hole yesterday with a sand wedge.

But the golf icon insists he is not suffering as much as previous years.
“I would say the Wyndham Championship was hard because I was suffering from the back pain,” he added.
“I had a hard time bending over to put.
“And the fact I made any putts on the last couple of days really is amazing.”
