The NCAA tournament kicks off in a matter of days with Selection Sunday taking place on March 11.
The competition sees the college’s best basketball teams compete in a three-week tournament in the hope of being named national champion.
It is where a number of players can showcase their talents for potential NBA scouts with the likes of Anthony Davis, Kemba Walker and Carmelo Anthony recent graduates to have made a name for themselves with their respective teams.
College sports are a phenomenon on the United States with fans flocking to matches in their thousands.
And March Madness is arguably the most popular sporting event with TV rights costing literally billions of dollars.
This year’s tournament is expected to see millions tune in from Selection Sunday.

What is Selection Sunday?
College teams battle in their respective conferences in the week leading up to Selection Sunday in the hope of clinching a place in the NCAA tournament.
Just 68 teams are given a place with 32 earning automatic bids for becoming champions of their conference.
The remaining teams are picked from a 10-member NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Committee.
They are responsible for selecting, seeding and bracketing the final field for the NCAA tournament.
The committee members are given a list of teams who receive an at-large bid (teams who have received an invite based on a multitude of factors including stats and rankings) and then pick the remaining 36 teams.
This year’s Selection Sunday will see a slightly different format in the selection show, which airs live on Sunday (1am GMT).
The show will reveal all 68 teams in the tournament before showing any of the head-to-head matches in the brackets.
