Amazon Echo PRICE CRASH: Echo Spot, Dot, Fire TV Stick price dropped in Mother’s Day SALE

Amazon has dropped prices across its Echo range ahead of Mother’s Day.

The Seattle retail company has slashed the price of its most recent addition, Echo Spot, which drops from £119.99 to £99.99.

Echo Spot is designed to be a bedside alarm clock, which includes a far-field microphone array to summon Alexa, as well as a camera for video calls.

The Spot is designed around a circular 2.5inch screen that displays information cards for the latest weather, news updates, as well as lyrics for any tracks playing on Prime Music.

Echo Spot can also stream a live video feed from a range of compatible home security products, including Canary and Ring.

There’s also a line-out 3.5mm headphone port, allowing users to connect the Spot to a set of speakers and boast the sound from the small bedside smart assistant.

For those who like the idea of an Alexa-powered device with a display, has also dropped the price of its Echo Show.

This features a much larger 7-inch multitouch display, which can be used for video calls, as well as watching videos on Amazon Prime.

Amazon has dropped the price from £199.99 to £139.99 for a limited time only.

And those looking for a real bargain should check-out the Echo Dot, a simple hockey puck-shaped device that brings Alexa to your existing speaker set-up.

The smart speaker has a small built-in 0.6-inch tweeter designed for interacting with AI assistant Alexa.

However, Echo Dot can be linked with your existing sound system via 3.5mm jack or Bluetooth.

The price has dropped from £49.99 to £39.99 in the latest Amazon sale.

Elsewhere, Amazon has dropped the price of its Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote + Echo Dot bundle, too.

Users who buy this bundle will be able to pair the included Fire TV Stick and Echo Dot to control playback on your Fire TV hands-free with Alexa.

Viewers are able to find, play and control movies and TV episodes from Prime Video, Netflix and other supported apps using just their voice.

This via a software update.

Before the deal, buying a Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote and Echo Dot together on Amazon would’ve set you back £89.98.

Amazon has now dropped the price to £69.98.
