PUBG fans last week got PUBG update 9 for Xbox One, an update that has been in the works for some time.
The PUBG update brought with it a number of new features, the biggest of which was the removal of a single starting area for all players.
Now there are multiple pre-match starting locations, which should help improve PUBG’s server performance as a battle is about to kick off.
The Battlegrounds update also brought with it requested bug fixes as well as Game DVR support.
However, there was one new PUBG feature for Xbox One fans that was not listed in the patch notes.

PUBG update 9 brought with it the jet ski vehicle, known in Battlegrounds as the Aquarail.
It’s one of the fastest vehicles in PUBG, and resembles a giant wooden shoe with jet ski parts attached to it.
The speedy Aquarail is also smaller than a boat, which makes it harder to hit – however, it’s also one of the nosiest vehicles, Bleeding Cool reported.
This may sound familiar to some PUBG players, and that’s because the Aquarail has been in the PC version since last December.
The addition of the new vehicle brings the Xbox One version of PUBG a step closer to its full release.
One of the biggest omissions from the Xbox One version of PUBG right now is the desert Miramar map.
This arrived in the PC version of PUBG last month.
In other PUBG news, Express.co.uk recently revealed that Battlegrounds was beaten by Fortnite in a recent poll held on our website.
More than 78k readers voted in our poll to identify the most popular battle royale game between Fortnite and Battlegrounds.
At the time of writing (and the poll is still open in case you disagree), PUBG has 47 per cent of the votes, compared to 53 per cent for Fortnite.
