Ship destroyed as huge blaze rages in central Moscow

Shocking footage from the scene shows fire crews fighting to contain the flames, which have spread over some 200 square meters and engulfed the entire vessel.

Thick smoke can be seen billowing from the ship as emergency services attempt to contain the inferno and stop the blaze from spreading to nearby buildings.

A fire ship has been deployed to help extinguish the flames.

Nobody is believed to have been aboard the boat when it caught fire.
