Pokemon Go news: Community Day results leave Team Valor, Team Instinct feeling blue

Community Day 2 results are in, and it’s not good news for Team Valor and Team Instinct.

Niantic has published the Global capture results for this .

The debut Community Day event was fairly evenly split between Team Mystic in blue and Team Valor in red.

Team Valor would capture more Surf Pikachus in Europe and Asia, while Team Mystic would gain victory in North and South America, Africa and Oceania. The yellows of Team Instinct, meanwhile, wouldn’t get a look in.

But things wouldn’t be quite so even in the Dratini event. The reds of Team Valor would gain victory in Oceania, while Team Mystic dominated every other region.

Once again, Team Instinct was nowhere to be seen.

The reds and yellows will be hoping to restore some pride in the next Community Day event, which centres around Bulbasaur.

As part of the Bulbasaur event, Trainers can expect to find more of the starter Pokemon in the wild.

This is ideal for anybody looking to evolve Bulbasaur into the more powerful Ivysaur and Venusaur.

Bulbasaur and/or its evolutions will know a special move as part of the event, although Niantic is yet to reveal what it is.

If it’s anything like this weekend’s Community event, you can also expect a new Shiny to launch.

Other bonuses include triple XP for capturing Pokemon and 3-hour lures.

Community Day 3 takes place on March 25 and runs from 10am UK time until 1pm UK time.

In the meantime, fans can unlock a special party hat Pikachu as part of the Pokemon Day celebrations.

The special Pikachu can be be found in the wild from now until February 28.

“Celebrate all things Pokémon with festive Pikachu wearing party hats available in the wild from February 26 to February 28,” reads a Niantic tweet.

The party hat Pikachus come with an exclusive special move, as well as extra Stardust.
