FIFA 18 Winter Upgrades: Ligue 1, La Liga and Bundesliga next for Ratings Refresh

The development team have decided on their list of top players who deserve a bump in FUT this year.

The FIFA 18 Winter Upgrades have started rolling out, with the Premier League the first stop.

These new pack items are now available in-game, and will be followed by a lot more in the days to come.

Calcio A was next the league to get the upgrade treatment this weekend, and it appears that the French Ligue 1 might be next.

This is based on how EA Sports did things in 2017, and so far they’re releasing the leagues in the exact same order.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

If they follow the exact formula from last year, Ligue 1 will see the next Winter Upgrades released, followed by La Liga and Bundesliga.

These were released a few days apart, meaning we might see the next launch tomorrow, or perhaps Wednesday, February 28.

It’s also worth noting that EA Sports might decide to change things up, and offer something completely different later this week.

The Ratings Refresh reveals usually end with the Rest of the World pack items, which could arrive in early March.

Details and stats on the FIFA 18 Winter Upgrades for the Premier League and Calcio A can be found in the galleries in this article.

Looking to how things have been handled in the past, it seems likely that the new FIFA 18 upgrades will be revealed at around 6pm, GMT, each day.

As fans will likely already know, the FIFA 18 Winter Upgrades permanently alter the stats of certain players.

High performing players will get a stats boost, while underperforming players will be downgraded.

The Premier League saw around 60 players get an upgrade of sorts in the Ratings Refresh, so there’s plenty of room for others to make their mark.

There will also be FIFA 18 downgrades put in place, although it’s unclear just who might be chosen to head that list.

There were over 13 downgrades made in the Premier League in FIFA 17, while other changes were also made based on clashes with other kinds of cards.

Also as part of the FIFA 18 Ultimate Team Ratings Refresh, certain player items received upgrades to their weak foot and/or skill move ratings based on the players’ real-world form this season.

These upgrades apply to all existing and new FUT player items and will likely be made to other leagues as well.

There will also be the official release of the FIFA 18 TOTW lineup, which will arrive in the days to come.
