vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

Airbnb launched what it calls “experiences” in 12 cities November 2016. These are local excursions that travelers can sign up for, like truffle hunting in Tuscany, surf lessons in Malibu and macaron making in San Francisco.

On Friday the company announced it was planning to launch in 1,000 more cities around the world in 2018.

CNET joined in on the salted caramel macaron making class with Chef Eloise at her DeLise Dessert cafe in San Francisco’s North Beach.

Apparently there’s a lot of butter in macaron’s cream filling.

Chef Eloise said “you’ll fail” if you don’t stir the meringue just right. “The batter should fall like ribbons.”

Getting a perfect circle for the macarons is an art form.

Once the meringue is formed, it’s time to add the salted caramel buttercream filling.

Delicious.

Chef Eloise says to make macarons at least one day in advance, so they can set to just the right texture.
