
The “threatening message” was found once the hotel guest had returned the device to staff.
A Chicago Police Department officer said: “A complimentary iPad was given to a hotel guest.
“That guest wrote down a threatening message to the hotel which was discovered when the iPad was returned upon checkout.”
No further details have emerged from the scene.
The tower embossed with the name of the President is a 98-story hotel in the downtown area.
