Valentine’s Day 2018: Marks and Spencer meal deal 2018 – here’s what’s on offer

Marks and Spencer have made Valentine’s Day simple with a special version of their Dine in for Two deal.

The deal, available for just £20 for two people, includes a starter, main, sides and dessert.

You also get wine or prosecco, and a box of heart shaped occasions to mark the special occasion.

So what’s on offer? Starters include a range of meat, fish and vegetarian options.

There’s a Thai-style fishcakes dish, made with a spicy soy, honey and ginger glaze.

Or, you could go for the rope grown Scottish mussels in a white wine sauce.

For an Italian feel, there’s a meaty antipasto selection including Parma ham, salmi Milani and cured pork loin.

Alternatively, for vegetarians or vegans, there’s sweet potato falafels on offer.

The mains include a traditional two sirloin steaks option with heart-shaped butter on top.

There’s a classic duck a l’orange dish, or gammon shanks for those who like to be a bit different.

Or, you could go for a fish course of gastropub style salmon and crab en croute.

The meat free option also looks delicious: goat’s cheese in a puff pastry lattice.

Pair these with a range of sides, from chunky chips to healthy tenderstem broccoli.

Desserts include a profiterole stack or a wheat-free New York cheesecake.

Chocolate lovers will have to try the chocolate tart, which is filled with Belgian chocolate ganache.

Those trying to be healthy can share a simple dessert of juicy strawberries.

There are also a number of Marks and Spencer Valentine’s Day lingerie gifts on offer.
