WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD
Much has changed for the Asgardian since the events of Thor Ragnarok.
Not only did he lose Asgard, his father, one of his eyes, but also Mjolnir – Thor’s very own hammer was destroyed by Hela.
Now a toy leak posted on Reddit has revealed Thor’s new weapon for Marvel‘s Avengers Infinity War.
The picture, posted on Reddit by BruceBannerfanboy shows the toy version of the weapon, with a picture of Thor holding it printed on the container’s front.
The new weapon is a cross between an axe and a hammer, so it’s probably Ultimate Mjolnir – as suggested by fans in the Reddit comments.
Another interesting part of the weapon, is that the handle is made out of part of Groot.
In the first trailer for Avengers Infinity War, Thor was shown waking up on the Guardians of the Galaxy’s ship, so presumably he’s helped by them in search his new weapon.
But does this mean that Groot dies? Either or that or he somehow gives Thor part of his tree-like body that can be reproduce.

However the big shock is that Thor’s eye is back, so presumably he somehow has it restored.
Avengers Infinity War will be released in UK cinemas on April 27, 2018.
