Guedes broke on to the scene at Benfica in 2014 and was linked with moves to a host of European big boys off the back of a string of impressive performances.
Last January PSG convinced the Portuguese giants to sell as they splashed out around £26m (€30m) to take him to the Parc des Princes.
Guedes was farmed out on loan to Valencia just eight months later but flashes of quality at the Mestalla have seen him tipped for big things.
Reports in Spain indicate Cristiano Ronaldo is a fan of his countryman and is keen for Real to prise him away from PSG.
However, Messi is apparently less than convinced by Guedes and supposedly suggested Real will not seal a deal for him.

Guedes came on for Valencia against Barcelona in the 55th minute of Thursday night’s Copa del Rey semi-final second-leg.
And Diario Gol claim that provided Barca stars with ammunition to discuss him in the dressing room post-match.
“They say that this is the heir of Cristiano Ronaldo in Portugal,” said one unnamed player.
In response, another allegedly quipped: “Well, he’s very bad.”
Messi is said to have joined the conversation but was not too harsh in his assessment having only seen Guedes play once.
It’s reported that he said he cannot see the 21-year-old joining Real though.
Real got a chance to see Guedes in the flesh when they played Valencia last month.
He was replaced at half-time though as Ronaldo and co. secured a 4-1 victory.
