However, it seems we already have a good reason to believe these rings will be made from pure Welsh Gold.
The precious metal type is used for royal weddings, in a tradition dating back almost a hundred years.
This is a tradition upheld by the Royal Family since April 26 1923, when the Queen Mother married the Duke of York.
Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, who died at the age of 36, was also given a ring in this material by Prince Charles, 69, on her wedding day.
It is a specific type of Welsh gold used by the royals, known as Clogau Gold.
It comes from the Clogau St. David Gold Mine in Dolgellau, Wales.
A tweet, posted by Clarence House in December, revealed the long held tradition.
On the fifth day of Clarence House Christmas, my true love sent to me, Welsh gold rings.
“Did you know the British Royal Family have used pure Welsh gold to create their wedding rings since 1923?”
Harry’s official title, the Prince of Wales, is another indication the pair may choose this gold.
