Fifty Shades Freed: Jamie Dornan speaks out on MORE movies with Dakota Johnson

After Dakota Johnson fielded a similar question last week, the actor behind Christian Grey told ITV’s Lorraine whether or not the series will remain a trilogy.

“Um yeah, I think so,” he said. “I mean there’s no other books.

“[EL James] wrote the first two books again from Christian’s perspective, but I guess we’ve already seen… we’ve done those films, the same story, so they won’t do that again.

“Unless Erica keeps writing… but Dakota and I are… particularly me, I’m getting too old for this.”

Similarly Johnson said last week: “It is the final film.”

When chatshow host Jimmy Fallon pushed her on further stories as Anastasia Steele, she said: “No, I don’t think so.”

Also in his interview with Lorraine yesterday, Dornan had spoken out on his appearance on the film’s soundtrack.

“I do sing – in the script he sings a Paul McCartney song. I sang it on the day,” he revealed.

“Sarah MacLachlan, the Canadian singer, we were shooting in her house – and she did a rendition of her songs before and it was total reverie and everyone was spellbound.

“Then she finished and everyone was crying and then it was like, ‘Jamie we’re ready for you now!’ Trying to follow that!”

Fifty Shades Freed is out on Friday.
