Han Solo movie trailer: What time will it drop on GMA tomorrow morning?

Star Wars fans are gearing up for a huge 24 hours.

After months of rumours, reports and ominous rumblings about sacked directors and troubled reshoots, Disney and Lucasfilm are finally ready to unveil the first official footage from the Star Wars Anthology movie.

Solo is out in just three months but has worried fans with a total absence of any images or footage. Until now.

The first short teaser is expected to debut tonight during the broadcast of the 52nd Super Bowl.

The teaser is expected to play at some time during the many, many adverising breaks during the American Football championship match.

Each commericial typically lasts up to 30 seconds and costs a whopping $5million per half-minute of air time.

Nobody knows whether the Solo: A Star Wars Movie teaser will show an action-packed few seconds of footage or will be true to the word ‘teaser’ and hint rather than reveal.

The former is more likely with anticipation sky-high for the expected main trailer the following morning.

After holding back for so long, this is a huge and unprecendented one-two punch from Disney and Lucasfilm, using the enormous platform of the Super Bowl simply to set up a later trailer.

Good Morning America is a well-established home for launching major movie trailers, including those from the Star Wars franchise.

In the past, GMA has announced the trailer news at the start of the show and then made the big reveal half way through.

This means fans should expect the main Solo  trailer at around 8.30am EST (Eastern Standard Time) which is 1.30pm in the UK.
