Han Solo movie trailer: Here’s when Star Wars spin-off teaser is ‘likely to drop first’

With less than four months until release, fans’ patience for the Solo movie trailer is quickly running out.

After weeks of rumoured launches for the teaser failing to deliver, all eyes are on the Super Bowl ad breaks – taking place on Sunday.

However recent speculation has suggested the Han Solo trailer wouldn’t drop until as late as the Winter Olympics in a week’s time.

Nevertheless the Hollywood Reporter claims industry insiders believe “widely” that the Super Bowl is where the first footage will be aired.

Meanwhile Disney won’t comment on the claim, but Hollywood marketing experts believe the delay was to wait until The Last Jedi’s run at the cinemas was mainly finished.

Fans have understandably been worried about the state of Solo: A Star Wars Story, following original director firings and

Back in December an alleged source said: “Disney is bracing themselves for the Han Solo movie to bomb.

“They were worried about it before all The Last Jedi controversy, but now they’re essentially writing Solo off.”

They added: “The lead actor, Alden Ehrenreich, can’t act, and they had a dialogue coach on hand for all of his scenes.

“On top of that, the script is unworkable. It’s going to be a car crash.”

Solo: A Star Wars Story will be released in UK cinemas on May 25, 2018.
