Nate Diaz told to stop ‘bulls******g’ fans with comeback talk and reveal his real plans

Last week, Diaz revealed he’d grown tiresome of sitting on the sidelines and was planning a summer return to the cage.

“Sick of sitting around waiting for you f*****s to do s**t there’s no excitement in this fight s**t step your games up I’ll see u around may, June,” .

“Sincerely The Real Champ.”

Upon seeing Diaz’s Instagram post, former  lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez offered to welcome the Stockton native back to the Octagon.

However, according to Alvarez, the Ultimate Fighter season five winner only has his sights set on one fight, a rubber match with .

Alvarez has been irked by Diaz’s refusal to fight anyone else and has urged 32-year-old to reveal his eagerness to have a trilogy fight with McGregor rather tease the rest of the fighters in the lightweight division.

“The more I think about it, the more I’m like: When Conor takes a break, Nate takes a break,” Alvarez said during an appearance on The MMA Hour.

“Conor’s like, ‘I ain’t fighting until August,’ and Nate’s like, ‘Well, I ain’t fighting until July,’ or some sh*t.

“I guess his ego doesn’t let him say, ‘I just want to fight Conor.’ Just say it. Like, just be honest with everyone.

“If that’s who you want to fight, there’s nothing wrong with that. But don’t call everyone out if you don’t have any intention of fighting anybody.

“You’re getting a bunch of fans excited who you’re just bullsh*tting. If you don’t want any work from any lightweight in the division, then just don’t say anything to any of the lightweights in the division and everything will be cool.

“But when you say things like that, you should be ready to at least fight somebody.”
