After 10 years and 18 movies, over 80 characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will share the screen in Avengers Infinity War and its 2019 sequel Avengers 4.

Other studios have followed the trend, such as Warner Bros’ DC Extended Universe, so surely the bubble will burst at some point.
However Disney’s Marvel have 20 more movies planned for the MCU and chief Feige reckons it’s the studio that will get tired before audiences do.

“You make films like Thor: Ragnarok, like [Spider-Man] Homecoming, like Guardians [of the Galaxy], certainly like [Black] Panther, and the upcoming [Avengers] Infinity War to keep it interesting and change it up. And we will continue to do that.”
Feige has also spoken out on Fantastic Four and X-Men’s future in the MCU.
Feige said: “The truth of the matter as I understand it is the deal has to be figured out. There’s been no communication. We’re not thinking about it. We’re focusing on everything we’ve already announced.
“If and when the deal actually happens, we’ll start to think more about it. Until then, we have a lot to do. … It would be years away.”
