Queen Letizia shows off figure in red lace up coat dress at the Royal Palace in Madrid

Queen Letizia of Spain stepped out in a red coat dress which showed off her slim figure today.

She wore the outfit to attend the Order of Golden Fleece ceremony, also known as the Toison de Oro, at the Royal Palace in Madrid.

The event coincided with the 50th birthday of her husband, King Felipe VI, which is today.

Queen Letizia’s coat dress fit her figure incredibly well, with a nipped in waist and slim cut arms.

It was collarless with a stiff high neck, and had two ties at the waist.

The coat dress finished slightly below Queen Letizia’s knees, and she chose to wear sheer tights.

Underneath she wore a satin slip in a darker shade of red, which finished on her knee.

She wore blood red patent heels with a slightly pointed toe and a stiletto heel.

She accessorised with a red satin envelope clutch which she carried in one hand.

Her brunette hair was parted at the side and swept back in in a sleek bun.

At the ceremony, Crown Princess Leonor was awarded the Order of the Golden Fleece.

King Felope called this disinction a “symbolic step in her preparation and future”.
