Kate Middleton and Prince William’s parenting rules for George and Charlotte revealed

Kate Middleton and Prince William have two children, and a third on the way.

The pair are hands-on parents, for members of the Royal Family, and Kate was even seen stuck in traffic during the school run recently.

While George and Charlotte do have a nanny, Spanish Maria Borrallo, credited for teaching Charlotte Spanish aged only two, William and Kate have revealed numerous insights into their parenting style over the years.

How do the couple raise their adorable children?

Be open with feelings

Kate and William have dedicated themselves to mental health causes in recent times, and they are mindful to teach good wellbeing awareness to their children.

William told CALM magazine: “Catherine and I are clear that we want both George and Charlotte to grow up feeling able to talk about their emotions and feelings.”

Modern schools

The parents are breaking some rules when it comes to how they are raising their brood.

Prince George is attending Thomas’s Battersea co-ed school, unlike William and Prince Harry who went to all-boys Wetherby School.

And unlike other royals who have been sent away from home to boarding schools, is is thought Kate will opt for Charlotte and George to study at independent London schools.

A royal expert Michael Cole told Express.co.uk is it likely Kate will choose Marlborough School for Prince George, while Charlotte could attend a co-education school like King Alfred School.

Watching TV together

William told Radio 1 that the family sit down to watch children’s programmes often.

And the utmost attention is required, according to the father of the two royal children.

William said: “You have to pretend you’re really interested in it because George gets very upset if you’re not showing due diligence to the characters.”

Educational days out

Kate has revealed that the children often attend the Natural History Museum in London.

In July 2016 on a visit to the museum Kate Middleton said: “George loves three dimensional sculptures. He does come here quite often.”

Arts and crafts

Prince George and Princess Charlotte like their arts and crafts just like any other child.

Prince William told Radio 1 that they made their grandmother the Queen handmade gifts for the 91st birthday.

In August 2016, Kate revealed that she and George like to bake together – but it doesn’t always go to plan.

She said: “When I try to (make rice crispy cakes) with George at home, chocolate and the golden syrup goes everywhere. George makes so much mess. It’s chaos.”
