Games with Gold February 2018 COUNTDOWN: Free Xbox One games news and reveal

While fans may have heard some surprising news about the Xbox Games Pass, most are still looking forward to the Games with Gold February 2018 reveal.

No leaks have arrived to suggest what might be launched next month, although fans are hoping for at least one AAA title to be included.

There’s the chance that official lineup will be confirmed today by Microsoft, who recently revealed some big news connected to their Xbox Game Pass service.

It has been announced that all new games published by Microsoft Studios will now be released onto Xbox Game Pass on the same date as their global release.

This means that when “Sea of Thieves” launches on March 20th 2018, it will be included on Xbox Game Pass for all members.

The plan will bring upcoming new games like Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and Crackdown 3 to Xbox Game Pass at the same time as their global release date.

This will also apply to any future unannounced games from Microsoft Studios including exclusive franchises such as Halo, Forza and Gears of War.

That’s huge news for Xbox One games fans, who may have been thinking about signing up to the monthly subscription service.

It may not mean new free games popping up as often as with Games with Gold, but it will mean access to some top titles.

When it comes to Games with Gold February 2018, So far there have been no hints from Microsoft on what could be launched.

The tech giant likes to provide their Games with Gold announcements before the end of the month.

January 2018’s Xbox Live announcement was made on December 22, and there’s nothing to suggest we won’t see something similar happen this month.

It’s not 100% guaranteed as Microsoft have chosen to change their dates from month-to-month, however, something this coming week wouldn’t be a big surprise.

As usual, Xbox One fans have started making their predictions for what might be included in the upcoming Games with Gold lineup.

However, without any kind of leaked information, it’s almost impossible to tell what could be made available next month.

Sometimes new releases are made part of the Games with Gold lineup, however, nothing appears to fit the bill for the Xbox One in February 2018.

It would be great to see something like The Vanishing of Ethan Carter make the lineup, providing something for both Xbox and Xbox One X owners to try out.

However, having only recently launched on the Microsoft console, it’s more likely we’ll see something a little older announced.

For those who don’t know, Games with Gold offers free Xbox games to qualifying Xbox Live Gold members.

The program provides Gold members with free games every month, worth up to $700 per year, according to Microsoft.

It should also be noted that all titles are playable on Xbox One, even those selected for the Xbox 360.

This is due to the Backwards Compatibility program, which continues to see new titles added in 2018.

Games with Gold is available to all Xbox Live Gold members, which can be redeemed from the Gold widget on the Xbox One home screen.

Titles can also be found if you download the Xbox One SmartGlass app, and go to the Microsoft Store and then page right.

When you select a game, it’ll be stored in your account and ready for download when you sign in to your console.

It should also be noted that new Games with Gold titles become available on the first and the sixteenth day of every month.

The current Games with Gold January 2018 lineup includes:

  • Zombi: Available January 16 to February 15 on Xbox One
