Pokemon Go NEWS: Next Community Day REVEALED with extra Stardust and new Shiny?

developer Niantic has announced the .

Niantic has confirmed that the next Community Day will take place on February 24 from 10am UK time until 1pm GMT.

The three hour event will focus on Dratini, although its unclear what its exclusive move will be.

Players will earn three times the amount of Stardust for the duration of the event, while Lures will last for all 3 hours.

If the first Community event is anything to go by, Dratini could get a Shiny variant.

It’s also useful if you want to evolve your Dratini into Dragonair and the powerful Dragonite.

Fans can keep up to date with the monthly Pokemon Go events by bookmarking the brand new Community Day page.

“Get out and play together in your local community parks on Pokemon GO Community Day,” reads a Niantic post.

“For just a few hours each month, you can encounter a special Pokemon in the wild.

“During these hours, there’s a chance to learn a previously unavailable move for that Pokemon, as well as earn some Community Day bonuses.

“Celebrate what it means to be a part of the Pokemon GO community and make new friends along the way!”

Adding a competitive element to play, the Community Day page breaks down which teams caught the most Pokemon.

Team Mystic (Blue) caught the most overall, having dominated North and South America, Africa and Australasia.

Team Valour, meanwhile, caught the most Community Day Pikachus in the UK, Europe and Asia.

It’s bad news for Team Instinct, who didn’t top a single region.
