PUBG news: New Battlegrounds initiative solves biggest problem on Xbox One and PC

PUBG developer Bluehole is tackling the game’s biggest problem on Xbox One and PC.

Bluehole has teamed with Chinese company Tencent to root out cheaters ahead of the launch of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in China.

And the initiative seems to be working, because Chinese police have already made arrests in the region.

According to Bloomberg, the Police have uncovered 30 cases and arrested 120 people suspected of designing cheat software.

The software is being used to give players the edge within the game, adding abilities like X-ray vision and auto-aim targeting.

It’s part of a scheme to clean the game up in time for the full release.

The news comes as PUBG developer Bluehole adds a couple of new loot crates to the game.

The only problem is that some of the items are almost impossible to find.

The new items can be found by opening Biker crates and Desperado crates.

Unlockables include new gloves, boots, jeans, glasses, hats and jackets.

The most common items have a 15% drop rate, while the rarest gear only drops 0.01% of the time.

That’s true of the brown and black Sleeveless Biker Jackets, as well as the checkered Cloth Mask.

Elsewhere, the Leopard Cloth Mask has a 0.16% chance of dropping, while the Aviator Goggles only have a 0.03% chance of being discovered.
