Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton have a well-documented rocky relationship that developed over four seasons of competition at Mercedes.
Formula One legend Niki Lauda has previously said the former team-mates hated each other which started to have a negative impact on the team.
However, Rosberg has claimed in a Q&A with fans on his official Youtube channel that it was the “battle” with Hamilton that spurred him on.
And he has dismissed claims that the 32-year-old is annoying, revealing he still has a lot of respect for the current F1 world champion.
