and Battle Royale continues to surge in popularity on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The most up-to-date stats from Epic Games shows Fortnite has hit the 30million player milestone, with 1.3million concurrent users tallied up recently.

But Fortnite fans have recently been hit with server issues on a number of separate occasions, with thousands left online at its worst.

And Epic Games has spoken out to address the issue in a recent forum post.

They said that all of their cloud services have been affected by updates to address the Meltdown vulnerability.

vCard QR Code

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

The Meltdown and Spectre flaws are recently discovered vulnerabilities that affect a host of major CPUs.

Nearly all computers worldwide, and many other devices like smartphones, have been exposed to the security gaps leaving them vulnerable to hacker attacks.

Researchers discovered the vulnerabilities in the central processing units, which could allow privately stored data on computers to be hacked.

The Meltdown security risk affects laptops, desktop computers and internet servers with Intel chips.

While Spectre affects some chips made by Intel, ARM and AMD that are found in smartphones, tablets and computers.

In a forum post, a member of the Fortnite team said: “Attention Fortnite community. We wanted to provide a bit more context for the most recent login issues and service instability.

“All of our cloud services are affected by updates required to mitigate the Meltdown vulnerability.

“We heavily rely on cloud services to run our back-end and we may experience further service issues due to ongoing updates.”

They added that unexpected issues may continue to occur as cloud services are updated.

They said: “We are working with our cloud service providers to prevent further issues and will do everything we can to mitigate and resolve any issues that arise as quickly as possible.

“Thank you all for understanding. Follow our twitter @FortniteGame for any future updates regarding this issue.”

The news comes after a new Fortnite update was rolled out to Battle Royale fans which adds the new Campfire Trap.

The new Cozy Campfire Trap includes a range of buff for anyone who can collect and deploy it safely on the island.

The new healing trap must be placed on a floor and persists for 25 seconds, before providing 2 HP per second

It should also be noted that the new item is of Blue rarity and can be found anywhere.

The new Fortnite update was launched on January 10 for PS4 and Xbox One, with no release time currently listed for deployment.

Fortnite will also see a range of big bug fixes in this latest patch, as well as the introduction of ShadowPlay Highlights from NVIDIA.

“No longer will your friends have to “take your word” when you tell them about that mountain sliding snipe headshot,” a message from Epic reads.

“ShadowPlay will save plays automatically by default. You are also able to manually configure which plays get saved and customize it to fit your style.

“NVIDIA ShadowPlay Highlights is supported for all PC gamers using GeForce GTX 650 and above graphics cards.”
