Chelsea star Eden Hazard tells Real Madrid he may join Manchester United

Chelsea star Hazard is wanted at Real Madrid as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale, with both players facing uncertain futures in La Liga.

However, Manchester United have also emerged as shock suitors with Jose Mourinho supposedly interested in reuniting with Hazard.

A report a couple of months ago said the Red Devils were ready to pay Chelsea £100million to sign their star performer, despite Hazard and Mourinho clashing during the latter’s final few months at Chelsea.

And Spanish outlet Don Balon claim Hazard has told Real Madrid about United’s offer.

However, in good news for Chelsea fans, the 27-year-old has no intention of actually moving to Old Trafford.

It is said Hazard is sweating on his move to Real and wants them to step up their bid to praise him away from Chelsea.

The Belgian is supposedly mindful that Madrid have other players on their list of targets.

Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi and Tottenham’s Harry Kane are just two players who could be on the move to the capital.

But Don Balon say Hazard is desperate to leave Chelsea for Real and is you using United as a pawn in his game.

Meanwhile, speaking earlier this month, pundit Shaka Hislop suggested Real may be worried about Hazard’s inconsistent form for Chelsea.

“I think he would be (a good fit),” Hislop said.

“Real Madrid need freshening up, there’s no question about that.

“At the same time though, Hazard hasn’t been so great for Chelsea of late.

“That could be a concern for Zinedine Zidane as they try and rebuild their side and have them challenge Barcelona.

“I’m going to put this down as a hit, just because I know how good Eden Hazard can be, maybe not how good he has been.

“I think that makes sense.”
