iPhone 8 DEAL: The cheapest way to own Apple’s new flagship REVEALED

The arrived in September bringing a host of new features to  popular flagship.

This latest device includes an updated glass design, improved camera with better low-light performance and the A11 Bionic processor which makes it the fastest smartphone Apple has ever made.

There’s also upgrades to the Retina display and the ability to refill the device wirelessly using standard Qi charging pads.

These updates make the iPhone 8 a worthy upgrade but what’s really the cheapest way to own one of these all-new devices?

Buying the 64GB model direct from Apple will cost you £699 but this clearly doesn’t include any minutes, texts or any of that all-important data.

There are plenty of SIM deals at the minute with Three Mobile offering 4GB of data for £10 per month.

EE has also cut prices with the network currently offering customers 12GB of 4G data, on the Max Plan, for £19.99 per month.

Although most people think buying the phone SIM only is the cheapest option it’s not always the case.

If you take the cheapest data deal above – Three Mobile’s £10 SIM – and add it to the price of the device it will cost you £939 over two years.

Compare this to some of the latest contract offers and you might be surprised by the difference.

Mobiles.co.uk is currently selling the iPhone 8 for £23 per month.

This deal includes 4GB of data with Vodafone plus there’s unlimited calls and texts.

There is a hefty £260 upfront cost to pay – reduced to £250 with the DEALENVY10 code – but even with this added the total price over two years is £812 – a saving of £127 over going SIM only.

It’s worth noting that if this is too much for your pocket the iPhone 7 has seen some dramatic price cuts.

This 2016 flagship can be picked up for as little as £18 per month which is an absolute bargain.
