Avengers Infinity War: Did the trailer give away the plot? Chris Hemsworth SPEAKS OUT

A few weeks ago the long-awaited first teaser for Avengers Infinity War landed, becoming the most watched trailer ever with 230 million views in a day.

Since then fans have been dissecting the footage, frame by frame, to work out what’s in store for the film’s plot.

Now Thor star Hemsworth has spoken out on the new trailer, claiming it doesn’t actually reveal much.

Speaking with IGN, the actor said: “It doesn’t give much away, for sure, because I remember watching it going, ‘Aw, it doesn’t tell people enough.’

Hemsworth continued: “And then Joe [Russo, director] was like, you don’t need to tell them anything, they want anything… Like, ‘Does it explain the story?’ It’s like, ‘It doesn’t need to.’”

Of course the initial synopsis isn’t a mystery, with Thanos searching for the six Infinity Stones, while the Avengers team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy to stop him.

What fans are still speculating over is how things will pan out and who will die.

The description entitled, “Thanos: The last Battle” sees the big purple Titan being taken on by Iron Man, Star Lord and Gamora as the superheroes capture his Infinity gauntlet, that can wield all six Infinity Stones at once.

Avengers Infinity War will be released in UK cinemas on April 27, 2018 and followed by Avengers 4 on April 26, 2019.
