With just five months to go until the release of the next Star Wars spin-off, fans have been wondering when they will grab a first glimpse of the Han Solo prequel.
Titled, Solo: A Star Wars Story, the new movie has been through production troubles after original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were fired by Lucasfilm.
With just a few weeks of shooting left, Ron Howard was swooped in to finish the job and head up reshoots, which are rumoured to have encompassed eighty per cent of the movie.
Now Star Wars Legacy have tweeted a rumoured release date for the movie’s trailer this week.
On their Twitter account, they wrote: “Rumour: #SOLO teaser to drop January 12 on GMA.”

According to Screen Rant the first teaser trailer for Rogue One, Lucasfilm’s first Star Wars spin-off under the House of Mouse, was released through the show in 2016.
Solo director Ron Howard remained coy when asked for a release date by fans on Twitter.
The filmmaker said: “Hang in there. Now that ep 8 is out there it won’t be long.”
Solo: A Star Wars Story is released in UK cinemas on May 25, 2018.
