CES 2018 – LG reveals incredible new 4K TV and it’s like nothing you’ve seen before

If you thought all TVs looked the same, think again.

LG has just revealed a new prototype ahead of the CES 2018 technology show and it’s like nothing anyone has seen before.

This latest 65-inch telly has the ability to roll up like a sheet of paper – meaning it can easily disappear inside a small box positioned beneath the set.

Incredibly, LG says this new TV even features OLED 4K technology which will allow consumers to watch content in this ultimate high definition format.

There’s currently no word on when this television will go on sale or how much it will cost but LG may reveal more during this week’s show.

Although this rollable model is just a concept, LG has given a glimpse of one telly that will be arriving in stores later this year.

This expansion of its OLED product portfolio reflects LG Display’s commitment to lead the high-end premium TV market.

“The successful development of the world’s first 8K OLED display is a milestone for the 8K era and underscores the exciting potential of OLED,” said In-Byung Kang, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at LG Display.
