Video footage of a young girl being run over by a police car has surfaced online.
The woman is pictured crossing in between lanes of traffic with another lady carrying bags of shopping.
The pair are clearly jaywalking and unfortunately it doesn’t pay off for the younger woman.
As she looks to the left – having already crossed three lanes of stationary traffic – the woman trots into a light jog to try and cross the final two lanes.
But as she gets half way, she turns to her left and stops with a face of horror – there is a car coming and she’s frozen.

The car slams on its brakes but can’t stop in time and the woman is thrown over the windscreen.
She’s thrown into the air and falls onto her back in the road – hitting her head as she lands.
The woman she was crossing with is frozen to the spot watching the scene unfold.
As the car stops it’s clear it’s a police car – although there were no flashing lights.
Cars parked alongside the incident come to a halt as if to help the victim – but that’s where the footage ends.
Kahnsouphanousinphone posted the video to Imgur yesterday and it’s already had 169k views.

“Rather make myself as visible as possible to traffic.”
Another – HavocWraith – added: “I am cautious, I grew up next to a very busy road.
“Road safety was a real thing for me and I feel like a safer person because of it.”
Imager users believe the footage was taken in Russia.
Jaywalking is illegal in Russia, and you can only cross the street at designated pedestrian crossings.
Another police incident was caught on dashcam with a different outcome.
