Manchester United make new and improved offer to KEEP Marouane Fellaini

The Red Devils are desperate to keep the midfielder, who is out of contract at the end of the season, at Old Trafford.

Fellaini turned down Manchester United’s two-year offer in September and has threatened to run down his current deal before leaving on a free.

He will be able to negotiate with foreign clubs next week and there is strong interest from Besiktas and Roma.

But United boss Jose Mourinho is desperate for him to stay put.

Mourinho values Fellaini highly and wants United to pull out all the stops to avoid him leaving.

Fellaini earns £120,000-a-week and United are believed to have made him a take-it-or-leave-it offer of around £150,00-a-week to stay.

The big Belgian has, up until now, shown no interest in penning a new contract.
