That is the view of Sky Sports pundit and legendary Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher.
Oxlade-Chamberlain left Arsenal for the Reds on transfer deadline day in August for an initial £35million.
He struggled to break into the Liverpool starting XI early in his Anfield career but has impressed in midfield in recent weeks.
But Carragher says it will be too attacking to play the 24-year-old alongside Jurgen Klopp’s star quartet of Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
“I don’t think he will (play),” Carragher said of Oxlade-Chamberlain.

“There may be something in the emotional side coming back here, will he get criticism?
“He spent a long time here, you remember his last performance for Arsenal at Anfield didn’t go too well.
“But I think if Jurgen Klopp plays the ‘fab four’, to go with Oxlade-Chamberlain also in midfield I think is possibly too offensive.
“But, it’s Jurgen Klopp, so why not?”
Carragher is favouring his former side tonight, who have not been on the losing side against Arsenal for over two years.
“I do (think Liverpool will win). We’ve got a good record against Arsenal,” he added.
“You think of the running power and the strength centrally where Liverpool can cause Arsenal really big problems.”
