Having apparently gone live before it should have, Digital Extremes have now confirmed the return of the Warframe Acolytes event.
According to those playing last night, Acolytes were put live accidentally by the dev team, who have since revealed that plans are afoot for their return.
“Acolyte cake is back in the oven, it’s not quite ready yet,” a Digital Extremes message explains.
“We’ll let them cook overnight and the Acolytes will arrive on all platforms tomorrow.”
No official release time has been given, however, fans are expecting them to go live pretty soon.
vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.
The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
The twisted warriors were last seen as part of Operation: Shadow Debt and usually drop some great mods to farm.
Acolytes usually pop up in random locations and start stalking the players, with some of the top mods dropping in the past.
“The Stalker has found others as twisted as himself. He calls them his Acolytes and he’s sent them after ME?” last year’s description reads.
“SHHH. I have to be very quiet, they cloak, they could be hiding anywhere… listening to this.
“I’m calling in my favor. Break into Corpus and Grineer installations and steal their security data.
“With enough data, I can determine their cloaking patterns and turn the tables on These…betrayers.”
20 new Event Mods were launched last year, which could be earned as drops from defeating Acolytes or by playing the bonus final challenger mission.
As mentioned above, Acolytes move around to try and escape the hunting tactics of the Tenno – so be prepared to seek them out across many planets.
The event duration last year was set for however long it took the community to kill the 5 Acolytes, with another 3 Days for the final challenger mission.
No details on the structure of this year’s Warframe event have been given yet, but should be shared soon.
