That’s according to Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Antero Henrique, who claims the timing of Perez’s comments could prove to backfire.
Since Neymar’s stunning move to the French capital in the summer transfer window, there have been constant rumours suggesting he is not happy there.
That has prompted links to a move to Real with reports last week claiming Perez had dinner with Neymar Sr to discuss terms on a possible blockbuster move.
And the Real chief added further fuel to the fire swiftly after Ronaldo won his fifth Ballon d’Or earlier this month.
He suggested Neymar would have a better chance at winning the coveted end-of-year award if he were to move to the Spanish capital.

But Henrique believes the timing of Perez’s comment could risk angering Ronaldo.
“Talking about a player from another club on the same day Cristiano Ronaldo picked up his fifth Ballon d’Or was not very nice for his own player,” Henrique told Le Parisien.
Henrique went on to insist the Brazil international is not seeking a move away from PSG and is happy with life at the Ligue 1 side.
“No. Because Neymar is happy. He loves the club and is doing very well here. It is not a question of money, it is a question of stability,” Henrique said.
“Neymar has accepted our vision. He is very ambitious and PSG offered him the space to work on these ambitions.”
