Real Madrid equal Barcelona record for Club World Cup wins – who else has lifted trophy?

Cristiano Ronaldo’s free-kick was enough to seal victory over Gremio in the Club World Cup final yesterday, sealing Los Blancos’ third tournament victory.

The win – Real’s second consecutive triumph and third in the last four years – equalled the trophy tally of La Liga rivals Barcelona in the FIFA competition.

While the Spanish giants have dominated in recent seasons, Brazilian sides also have a superb record in the competition.

Despite , Corinthians have triumphed twice while Sao Paulo and Internacional have also won the tournament, beating Liverpool and Chelsea respectively.
