Cristiano Ronaldo TAUNTED by Lionel Messi chant… His reaction was hilarious

Real looked to be on the wrong end of a huge upset when Brazilian forward Romarinho gave the Abu Dhabi side a 1-0 lead just before half-time.

Ronaldo managed to level the scores after the break but Al-Jazira were able to frustrate the reigning La Liga and Champions League champions until the final minutes.

It took Gareth Bale’s introduction to secure the win with the Welshman scoring on 81 minutes to set up a final against Gremio on Sunday.

However, despite the result and Ronaldo getting on the scoresheet, some sets of supporters tried to rile up Ronaldo.

The Portugal international won his fifth Ballon d’Or last week and made a statement declaring he is the greatest footballer in the history of the game.

But some fans inside the Sheikh Zayed Stadium clearly disagreed with Ronaldo.

They could be heard chanting: “Messi, Messi, Messi.”

And a video emerged of Ronaldo clearly bemused by the chant as he could be seen gesturing to the crowd with his arms stretched out.

Ronaldo and Messi have been compared to each other throughout the past 10 years with both players having shared the Ballon d’Or between them since 2007.

The Real superstar will be hoping to add another trophy to his cabinet this weekend as his side look to become the first club to defend their Club World Cup title.
