The movie, The Mountain Between Us, takes its name from the snow-capped peaks where the injured passengers find themselves struggling to stay alive. And everybody knows that the best way to warm a freezing body is another warm body.
Winslet revealed that she actually had to keep her socks on during the saucy scene but not for the reason you’d expect.

Winslet spilled the naughty secret during an interview on The Graham Norton Show when she described filming the sex scene in the snow and dealing with the hesitations of Elba and the director Hany Abu-Assad.

“We just got on with it. We got naked but Idris asked me to keep my socks on.
“I thought he didn’t like feet but, it is the opposite: Ladies and gentlemen, Idris loves feet!”
The scenes coudl have been very differnet. Originally Margot Robbie was cast Alex, opposite Michael Fassbender and then Charlie Hunnam in 2015, before each one dropped out.
Winslet and Elba came on board the following year.
