Desperate Kim Jong-un demands North Korea ‘bolster nuclear force’ and build MORE missiles

Kim Jong-un called on workers to make “more of the latest weapons and equipment” and to “bolster up the nuclear force in quality and quantity”.

The statements were made at an event where Kim personally awarded top scientists with medals after they built a missile that North Korea insists could destroy Washington, reports reveal.

The rocket scientists all worked on the Hwasong-15 which was revealed to be the countries most powerful missile ever when it was tested in the “great November event”.

The test launch “demonstrated the dignity and might of our powerful state all over the world once again, and showed warm loving care and benevolence for them,” North Korea propaganda claimed.

Pyongyang said in a press release: “Party and state commendations were awarded to those contributors to the successful test-fire of ICBM Hwasong-15 with due ceremony at the April 25 House of Culture on Tuesday.”

The scientists were rewarded after helping the prisons state violate international law as it rushes to become a nuclear power on the world stage.

Grateful rocket experts were awarded the highest honours in North Korea, the Order of Kim Il-sung and the Order of Kim Jong-il among a myriad of different awards.

Watches were also given to the scientists engraved with the name of Kim Jong-un and Kim Il-sung.

The dictator praised the test as a “historic victory” for his communist party and its people.

The Pyongyang press release said: “The great November event is associated with the patriotic devotion displayed by Kim Jong-un who has dedicated himself to the eternal future of the country and happiness of its people, they noted.

Other speakers authorised by Kim “called for waging an all-out drive once again to glorify the great era of Kim Jong-un as the greatest heyday of development of defence industry and bolstering of defence capabilities and lead today’s great victory to the final victory in the showdown with the US and national reunification.”

The award ceremony follows warnings that the brutal regime may be planning another illegal weapons launch for Christmas.

The suggestions follow Kim’s visit to the sacred Mount Paektu where he is thought to go when he makes big decisions.

The ‘ominous’ visit comes as satellites images reveal fresh activity at Kim Jong-un’s nuclear test site.

In November 2013, Kim visited the mountain with his aides a month before he executed top officials including Jang Song-thaek, his uncle, and political guardian.

Then in April 2015, he visited the volcano again just before executing Hyon Yong-chol, a former defence chief.
