Fury hasn’t fought since November 2015 when he reclaimed the world heavyweight title after defeating Wladimir Klitschko.
Joshua meanwhile, who defended his titles against Carlos Takam in Cardiff back in October, is gearing up for a potentially jam-packed 2018.
Three showdowns are being lined up, as the Watford-born fighter seeks to unify the belts.
Fury on the other hand, is waiting to find out if he will get back his boxing licence after he was charged last year with “the presence of a prohibited substance”.
And the 29-year-old insists he’s not obsessed with Joshua.

When asked about the chances of a potential clash with Joshua, Fury told Sky Sports’ Soccer AM: “Listen, it’s whatever the people want to see.
“The first time round it was all about winning belts and becoming the best in the division.
“And I went and beat an 11-year reigning champion, which I didn’t really have a prayer of doing by anyone.
“So this time around it needs to be different.
“I want to be one of those fighters that goes in there and fights people that people don’t want to fight.”
“So it’s not just about the Anthony Joshua, there are plenty of other fights that could be entertaining.”
