Star Wars 8 FIRST reviews and social media revealed? WHEN is the embargo lifted?

The Last Jedi will hit cinemas in the UK on December 14 and ‘theaters’ in the US on December 15.

The movie will be screened for UK critics and press on December 11, with the London premiere taking place the following night.

Before that there will be the World Premiere in Los Angeles on December 9.

But when will Disney allow anyone to reveal what they have seen and review the penultimate movie in the main triple trilogy?

We are clutching our tickets for the December 11th screening with almost unbearable excitement.

After two years of theories, spoilers, reports and specualtion, all will finally be revealed but when can we share it with our loyal readers.

The official embargo on all reviews will be lifted by Disney and Lucasfilm on Tuesday December 12 at 5pm UK time (12 noon US Eastern Standard Time).

However, social media commens and reactions will officially flood the internet days before that.

Star Wars fans around the world will be able to read the first reactions from the lucky audience members at the World Premiere just hours after the movie is screened.

The embargo lifts at 9pm US Eastern Standard Time on Saturday, December 9 (9am the following morning in the UK).

Shorts comments and buzz words are positively encoraged by the filmmakers, but many attendees at embargoed screenings have learned to get around restrictions by posting a string of short tweets that form a longer, more coherent reaction.
