Ballon d’Or: Cristiano Ronaldo set to beat Lionel Messi to Ballon d’Or at the Eiffel tower

Ronaldo is set to go level with Lionel Messi on five Ballon d’Or awards each.

The Portugal star helped Real Madrid clinch back-to-back Champions League crowns in May and also won La Liga.

And despite his difficulties in La Liga this term he will win tonight’s award.

Leaked images of celebration boots have emerged online with the dates of Ronaldo’s Ballon d’Or successes and 2017 was included.

And his club president is sure he will win the prize again tonight.
