We now know fos ure that Snoke is not Sith but recent comments from Andy Serkis revealed the chilling extent of the First Order leader’s power.
He said: “He (Snoke) is the dark end of the Force. he’s the leader of the First Order but he has his own agenda. He’s a cruel manipulator.”
Asked if he more powerful than Vader or Palpatine, Serkis gave the unequivocal reply: “Oh, without question. He has limitless resources, let’s put in that way.”
Now a new revelation has explained the twisted and dreadful way Snoke is able to access so much power – but also potentially reveals the way to kill him.

His hips are tilted and he suffers from atrophy all over his body due to his sedentary lifestyle. He is still strong as he draws his power from his constant agony.”
Those Dark Side users do like to suffer, it seems, but not for art, fashion or beauty (although Snoke is rather fond of fabulous robes and accessories).
The latest revelations provide a terrible link to Vader, himself.

This certainly draws parallels with Darth Vader who who is constant agony after almost dying after his duel with Obi-wan Kenobi in the lava rivers on Mustafar.
We know that Sith traditionally draw their power from pain. When he put Anakin/Vader back together, Emperor Palpatine purposefully kept Darth Vader in pain. This was partly to reinforce his apprentice’s connection to the Dark Side and partly to give him the ability to tap into his power through his eternal suffering.
It should be noted that Palpatine also ensured that Vader’s suit would inhibit his strength just enough so he could never surpass his master.
Snoke, however, has nobody restricting his strength. His vulnerability lies in something else.

Snoke appears to have machines set up in his throne room which sustain his life. Eagle-eyed fans spotted the machine to one side which appears to store Force energy which has been drained from others, or even from the galaxy itself.
Some form of cable appears to connect to Snoke’s throne, enabling the First Order leader to constantly draw on this power to keep him alive, but also to give him a boost in strength should he need it.
It means Snoke has potentially almost “limitless” power, according o Andy Serkis, when combined with the unprecedented military might of the First Order.
However, it also makes Snoke incredibly vulnerable to attack. Is this what Leia’s plan is in The Last Jedi?

His frail physical state is decrepit, twisted and struggling to remain alive. Can he survive at all away from his throne room and machinery? So far he hasn’t even been shown even standing away from his throne (in hologram or person).
This ties in with the trailer scenes showing Finn and Rose on an exploding ship. It looks increasingly likely that they have been sent by Leia to infiltrate Snoke’s flagship, The Supremacy.
It is likely they retrieved Benicio del Toro’s DJ from prison on Canto Bight because ehe is the greatest computer hacker in the galaxy and could help them locate the Supremacy and bypass its defences.
All the explosions show imply that Leia knows of Snoke’s vulnerability and has sent Finn and Rose to try and blow up the Supremacy, or at least, seriously weaken the ship, and by extension Snoke.
It shoulld be noted that Snoke’s throne room is a separate part of the Supremacy which can detach and operate as an independent ship.
It also suggests that the explosions interrupt Snoke’s torture of Rey and allow her to escape, possibly with the help of Kylo Ren.
The Last Jedi looks set to finish quite literally in the most explosive fashion imaginable but who will survive?
