Fans went crazy when Rian Johnson revealed the first word of The Last Jedi.
Now a Star Wars news site is reporting the first two words, which changes everything again and seems to completely destroy the most popular theory about how and where the movie will start.
Popular wisdom has always believed that The Last Jedi will open on Ahch-To. Major reports also insisted that Luke’s first words would be “Who are you?”
Johnson’s revelations have blown that out of the water.

After a long isolation, Luke is very unlikely to refer to anything in the plural. This immediately appears to remove the chances of Episode 8 opening on the clifftops of Ahch-To. It looks like The Last Jedi will open mid-drama during the battle for D’Qar for two major reasons.

This raises the thrilling possibility that Leia will fittingly open and close The Last Jedi, following a slip by Daisy Ridley in a recent interview which revealed a powerful moment between Rey and the rebel general.
