After two years of smoke and mirrors, Snoke is finally stepping out of the shadows.
As well as actually appearing in the (decrepit) flesh on screen, the First Order Leader is finally being fleshed out by teh filmmsakers in interviews.
Many recent comments have centred on how weak and frail his body is, but there have been some ominous revealtions about his powers.
Andy Serkis just confirmed once and for all that Snoke is the most powerful Dark Side user we have ever seen on screen.
Serkis said: “His face is cleaved in, scars across his mouth, contorted body. But without giving too much away, he is wrong. He is the dark end of the Force. he’s the leader of the First Order but he has his own agenda. He’s a cruel manipulator.”
He was then askd whether Snoke was more powerful than Dart Vader or Palpatine. Remember, Anakin (before he became Vader) was supposed to have the potential to balance the Force and had an incredible Midichlorian rating.
Is Snoke really more powerful than that?
Serkis gave the unequivocable reply: “Oh, without question. He has limitless resources, let’s put in that way.”
Even though Serkis previously confirmed that Snoke is not a Sith, his latest comments refer to the mysterious figure as “the dark end of the Force.” He is literally its ultimate embodiment.
But what can “limitless resources” mean?
Many eagel-eyed fans have pointed out the machines in Snoke’s throne room which appear to store Force nergy. It is supposed that he sustains his life using the energy drained form others and perhaps even from the galaxy itself.
Assuming he remains near enough to tap into this source, it is likely that he can also boost his own immense native power with an additional boost.
Of course, Serkis coudl also be choosing his words with care and cunnin and be ferrring to the military and tecgnological might of teh First Order, which is now believed to exceed that of the Empire at its height.
Either way, Snoke is becoming an even more terrifying figure…
