The Samsung Galaxy S9 is set to launch next year, with the follow-up to the Galaxy S8 and S8+ expected to be revealed in February 2018.
It’s believed that the South Korean tech giant will use the Mobile World Congress (MWC) to lift the lid on the Galaxy S9 and family of smartphones.
Both smartphones are tipped to have a dual-curved display, like the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ before them.
The Galaxy S9 is also expected to feature a dual camera set-up, which Samsung first debuted with the Note 8.
All this advanced tech for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ means that it could be released at a price point higher than the Galaxy S8.

But Samsung and Android fans have been dealt one blow ahead of the reveal for the highly anticipated smartphone.
It looks like one of the most demanded features for a Samsung phone could skip the Galaxy S9 and S9+, if latest reports are to be believed.
ETNews, a usually reliable source for Samsung news, have made two big claims about the Galaxy S8 successor which will surely disappoint fans (via Forbes).
They reported that the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will not have a fingerprint sensor integrated into the smartphone’s edge-to-edge display.
ETNews claimed that, instead, the fingerprint sensor will be placed on the back of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus successor.
Samsung had been expected to fit such a sensor on the Galaxy S8, and have reportedly been hard at work on the feature for some time.
Seeing as it could now miss the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, the next phone it could appear on is the Galaxy Note 9.
Alternatively, Samsung could be saving the tech for the much rumoured Galaxy X – a foldable smartphone rumoured to stretch out to the size of a tablet.
Galaxy X will purportedly be comprised of two separate OLED displays, of which one is flexible.
The unannounced smartphone is rumoured to launch alongside the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus at the Mobile World Congress tradeshow in February 2018.
It had also been rumoured that the Galaxy S9 would have a 3D depth-sensing front camera to enable facial recognition.
If that sounds at all familiar, it’s probably because the front-facing 3D depth-sensor is one of the flagship features on the Apple iPhone X.
This new sensor system powers Face ID, which unlocks the iPhone X and authenticates contactless payments by scanning the user’s face.
But ETNews disputed these rumours, claiming that Samsung will not have a rival to the iPhone X’s Face ID with the Galaxy S9.
Instead they said Samsung will continue with a combination of an iris sensor and facial recognition using the front camera.
