Last year rumours abounded that Prince William and Prince Harry filmed stormtrooper cameos for Star Wars The Last Jedi during their set visit at Pinewood Studios – news that has now been confirmed.
But what did the stars of The Last Jedi make of the two Royals?

Speaking on Good Morning America, the 25-year-old said: “It was really funny, it was great because it was so surreal.

“It’s surreal anyway taking people around the set that’s sort of your home, because it’s weird suddenly being the outsider.
“Being like, ‘This, this, this, this’, and then occasionally I’d be like, ‘Oh that’s…that’s the princes of England!’
“It was great! They’re really, really nice. Also really tall, which was the most surprising thing. Really tall yeah. They were lovely.”
At 6’2 and 6’1, Prince William and Harry are certainly above average height, but will this help in spotting them easily among other stormtroopers? Fans will have to wait and see.
Star Wars 8 The Last Jedi will be released in UK cinemas on December 14, 2017.
