North Korea WARNING: Kim could be forming lethal alliance with Syria, Cuba and Russia

The US President has hit out at both Pyongyang and Damascus since coming to power, heightening fears of World War 3.

Alongside threatening North Korea, Mr Trump launched military strikes against Syrian forces earlier this year over the regime’s use of chemical weapons.

And that has forced murderous dictators Bashar al-Assad and Kim Jong-un closer together, it is claimed.

Both countries already have historic ties dating back decades to the Cold War era.

And the two authoritarian states appeared to go public on their ever tightening ties in a recent report of Jang Myong Jo, Pyongyang’s Syrian ambassador, meeting with Syria’s Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Rima al-Qadiri.

Syrian news reported the pair voiced their support for one another and pledged to help in the reconstruction of their respective countries.

Assad has also contacted Kim in recent days in a bid to consolidate ties between the two nations, Newsweek reported.

Earlier this year, Pyongyang was accused by the UN of trying to assist Syria in its chemical weapons building programme.

A panel of experts revealed an attempt to send two shipments of deadly weapons to Syria were dashed when the vessels were intercepted.

Russia’s support for the Assad regime is also well known, sparking fears the nations could form an axis of resistance against the US and its allies.

And, with North Korean and Cuban officials also meeting last week, there is concern a fourth nation could be added to the potentially explosive mix.

The warnings came as tensions over North Korea ratcheted up another notch when Japan announced it had detected radio signals suggesting another ballistic missile launch by Kim’s regime.

Japan’s Kyodo news agency said the detection had been confirmed by government officials.

One official told them: “There is a possibility of missiles launches in the next few days.”

They said the test could be part of North Korea’s army’s winter training regime.

Pyongyang, which has not tested a missile following its provocations in September, has been threatening another launch.

And the hermit state has claimed any future military would be aimed at the US.

South Korean Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon said there have been “noteworthy” movements from the North since its last missile launch in mid-September, although there was no hard evidence of another nuclear or missile test.

He said: “North Korea hasn’t been engaging in new nuclear or missile tests but recently we’ve seen them persistently testing engines and carrying out fuel tests.”

But he warned the North could announce the completion of its nuclear program within one year.

He said: “Experts think North Korea will take two to three more years but they are developing their nuclear capabilities faster than expected and we cannot rule out the possibility Pyongyang may declare the completion of their nuclear programme in a year.”
