Meghan Markle, 36, and Prince Harry, 33, announced their engagement yesterday via Clarence House’s Twitter account.
The pair seemed blissfully happy as they posed for television crews and press photographers.
This morning Meghan’s half-sister Samantha Grant spoke live from her home in Florida at 3am local time to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain.
The actress’s half-sister, who shares a father with Meghan, called her relationship with Prince Harry “very real and normal”.
Samantha Markle told the TV presenters of Meghan: “She’s very creative, charming, lovely, full of life, very vibrant and she’s never changed, she’s just so sweet and charming.”

Clarence House made the announcement on their Twitter account yesterday morning.
It read: “His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Harry to Ms. Meghan Markle.
“The wedding will take place in Spring 2018. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course.”
Meghan and Prince Harry attended an official photo call to announce their engagement.
The actress wore a white coat and nude shoes, but all eyes were on her ring.
It was revealed that Meghan’s ring was designed by Prince Harry and featured a huge diamond from Botswana.
It then had outside stones from the personal collection of Prince Harry’s mother set in a band of gold.
