SNES Classic Mini news: Super Nintendo stock update for Cyber Monday 2017

The SNES Classic Mini has seen a spurt of new stock updates arrive this week, in time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2017.

The biggest of these new launches in the UK was at the official Nintendo Store, where the Mini console returned for several hours.

Wedged between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the Super Nintendo wasn’t reduced but was finally available again for those desperate to grab one.

SNES Classic Mini stock usually sells out in a matter of minutes, so it bodes well for stock levels that it was available to buy for so long.

At the moment, the only UK retailer with SNES Classic Mini stock available to buy online is Simply Games.

They have the SNES Classic Mini priced at £119.99, which is considerably more than the usual price of £69.99 or £79.99.

Argos have previously said they are expecting more SNES Classic Mini stock before Christmas, while GAME have been well stocked recently.

GAME stores across the UK have been tweeting in the past few weeks to say when they’ve been getting SNES Classic Mini stock available to buy over the counter.

This could mean we see something pop up in time for Cyber Monday.

One big Cyber Monday 2017 update has comes from Toys R Us in the United States, who have confirmed they will be offering SNES stock on the day.

“Starting on Sunday, November 26, Toys R Us stores nationwide will receive inventory of Fingerlings, SNES Classic, Luvabella and Nintendo Switch,” a message from the retailer reads.

It may sound strange but it appears shoppers might still be able to enjoy a Cyber Monday discount by using the retailers  Buy Online, Pickup In-Store service.

There’s always the chance that the mini Super Nintendo will be snapped quickly if does appear online, so it might worth checking with your local store to grab a console from the shop in person.

There’s been no update on the official UK Nintendo site if the SNES will be back in stock on Cyber Monday, although it’ll be worth check just in case.

The last time the Official Nintendo Store UK had SNES Classic Mini stock available was a few days before the console’s launch back in September.

The SNES Classic Mini is loaded up with 21 classic 16-Bit games playable in glorious HD.

It includes the never before released Star Fox 2, and three games that were never released in the UK during the Super Nintendo days.

These games are Earthbound, Super Mario RPG and Final Fantasy III (which is actually Final Fantasy 6).
